The Sierra County Animal Relief Fund (SCARF) is a non-profit organization created to assist Sierra County residents obtain much-needed services for their animals. It operates out of the belief that no animal should go without the basics in life. Its mission is to keep animals in their homes, even when their families may be experiencing hard times. Toward that end, SCARF provides healthcare and emergency food. Additionally, SCARF has an emphasis on spaying and neutering, providing both advocacy and help in that regard.
