Sometimes I think people say a movie is good because everyone else is saying it, and they don’t want to be the exception and see what they really think, and in actuality the movie is not that great. This is one of those cases.
The movie is not great. I think people confuse the true story , which was very remarkable, and with the movie and the movie is not good. We first learned of this story while watching 60 Minutes. That 20 minute section was remarkable , and moving . The movie was agonizing and way too long. How they could take such a good true story and make it super long is perplexing to me.
Now those of you who don’t know what this is about, a young boy in India gets on a train and ends up days later in another town. They believe him to be orphaned and he’s adopted by a family in Tanzania . About 20 years later he goes on Google to find his home town. Man, this movie could have been so good…
