Carol Says: Good movie. This is the second time in a month I’ve been to movie that’s currently playing. First: observations: the acting by everyone in this movie is very, very good. When I first saw Tom Cruise, hereafter call TC, I thought “oh there’s Tom Cruise”, shortly there after I no longer so TC but only Barry Seal, the character he was playing. TC just didn’t act like himself or look like himself … He was the Barry. Another thing I noticed is that no one in the movie is likable. They are not good people. That usually turns me off in a movie but here we were watching what really happened . So I did not like the characters and I did not like the decisions our government made, but it was a good movie. And from what I’ve read everything we saw was basically what actually happened, and worse in real life.

Barry was a TWA pilot who began running drugs and guns for the CIA. That’s the bottom line with this movie is about.

This is a fast action movie and kept me engrossed. After you see the movie you may want to research what was true and what is not true in the movie , as it is interesting . But there is not much difference between the truth and the movie , from the articles I found.
