SIERRA COUNTY CASES WEEKENDING APRIL 26, 2013

            Teresa Snider (43) Sierraville.  Driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above with a prior conviction for driving under the influence.  Three years probation, 10 days jail, fine $2589, alcohol school.

Jeannie Adcock (51) Loyalton.  Embezzlement of public funds.  Sentencing is set for May 28.

Bernard Bonavita (49) Portola.  Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.  Sentencing is set for May 28.

Brandie Purvis (33)  Loyalton.  Sentencing on dog at large.  Fine $600, and ordered to pay restitution to Loyalton High School in the amount of $900.

Jacob Chatelle (25)  Reno Nevada.  Loaded firearm in vehicle.  Fine $639.

Paul Penn (36) Loyalton.  Waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was ordered to stand trial on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Lance Rose (53)  Colfax.  Possession of fireworks.  Fine $444.

Tray Watts (40) Verdi.  Unlawful discharge of a firearm.  Two years probation, 2 days jail, fine $865, and is restrained from contact with a neighbor for three years.

Adan Baeza (40) Calpine.  Reckless driving with alcohol.  Eighteen months probation, 2 days jail, fine $1456, attend alcohol school.

Michael Brooks (25) Loyalton.  Waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was ordered to stand trial on charges of theft of a firearm..
