Ira Hays Reports from Sierra Valley 1/9/13

1/9/13 The weatherman tells us fog is the result of a sudden drop in temperature.  In Sierra Valley we get fog and at this time of year the temperature may continue to drop well below freezing and the result often causes Pogo Nip, more commonly known as hoar frost, to form on trees, fences, and power lines. This morning I got this shot of a ranch out in the Valley with the trees covered in pogo nip.
