AFT skiers demonstrate the proper use of the big rails in the Tiegel park earlier this season.
The ASC Alpine Freestyle Team is winding another season at Alpine Meadows. The team, formerly named the Alpine Meadows Freestyle Team, has produced some world class athletes including superpipe World Champ David Wise, X Games medalist Brita Sigourney and US Ski Team aerialist Scotty Bahrke. The next generation of Alpine Meadows free skiers is about to make a name for Alpine Meadows, after dominating local podiums in slopestyle events and making respectable showings in big mountain events.
Coach Tyler Homen is leading a group to the USASA Skier Nationals at Copper Mountain, Colorado this week. The following athletes have already spent a lot of time on local podiums. Here’s the roster and their events:

After spending a lot of time on local podiums, we expect we’ll be seeing some great results from this crew at Nationals.
Coach Drew Fisher will be taking the big mountain skiers to the IFSA Junior North American Championships at Revelstoke, Canada. Revelstoke is one of the premier venues for free skiing competitions. Two AFT athletes will be competing at Revelstoke:
