David Farris (41) Transient. After a contested preliminary hearing, Farris was ordered to stand trial on felony charges of residential burglary, two counts of second degree (non residential) burglary of the San Francisco Field Station, Felony vandalism (extensive damage to field station in the removal of copper pipe), armed with a firearm during the Field Station burglaries, felon in possession of a firearm. He remains in custody in lieu of $200,000 bail.

John Cortez (41) Dixon. Excess speed on a truck with three or more axles, and failure to appear. Fine $713.

Robert Wharff (25) Sacramento. Violation of probation for failure to keep in contact with probation. 60 days jail, probation extended, and reinstated.

Nicolas Zimmerman (26) Loyalton. Violation of probation for failure to pay fine, and failure to appear. Converted to 20 days jail.

Alicia Flores (41) San Jose. False information to a peace officer. One year probation, two days jail, fine $362.

John Amodei (56) Loyalton. Reckless driving, alcohol related. Eighteen months probation, 2 days jail, fine $1473.

James Topping (45) Oroville. Failure to pay fine for driving on a suspended license, and failure to appear. Twenty-two days jail in lieu of fines.

Jennifer Daneri (32) Sacramento. Violation of probation by tampering with electronic monitoring device. Probation reinstated.

Justin Duncan (38) Fernley NV. Petty theft (bottle of Jagermister from Leonards). One year probation, one day jail, fine $561.

Ryan Long (53) Sacramento. No fishing license, but got it later. Fine $186.

CASES WEEKENDING AUGUST 23, 2013

Robert Holland (47) Loyalton. Holland was sentenced after pleading guilty to two counts of sex with a minor. He received three years felony probation, 180 days jail, fine $2335, must submit to search at any time.

Nicole Brogdon (35) Cool. After a contested preliminary hearing, was ordered to stand trial on felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting injury on spouse or cohabitant, use of a deadly weapon (knife) and causing serious bodily injury to another.

Renzil Faria (24) Susanville. Plead guilty to battery with force likely to cause great bodily injury. Six months probation, 124 days jail. He was then extradited to Nevada on a felony fugitive warrant.

Rickie Devany (20) Loyalton. Disturbing the peace. Fine $510.

Michael Arcilla (30) Loyalton. Driving while suspended and two failure to appears. Three years probation, fine $2040, which was converted to 313 hours of community service.

Justin Lobardo-Barton (21) North San Juan. Sentencing on violation of probation for failure to keep contact with Probation. His underlying conviction was animal cruelty and hit and run for running over a dog that was working a cattle drive. Sixteen months State Prison. Restitution Order for $16,206.29 was entered.

Trinidad Ledesma III (25) Grass Valley. Violation of probation for failure to follow orders of Probation. Seventy-two days jail, probation reinstated. His underlying conviction was felony vandalism to jail property.

Dakota Dubois (25) Grass Valley. Possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, failure to appear. Sixty days jail.

Andrea Freeman (30) Grass Valley. Violation of probation for committing a new offense – hit and run. Her underlying conviction was for driving under the influence with two prior convictions. One year jail, probation terminated unsuccessfully.

Fulgencio Sarratea (19) Reno. Driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or more. Three years probation, 2 days jail, fine $2460, alcohol school, and a one year license suspension because he is under 21 years of age.

Frank Lister (43) Loyalton. Sentencing on burglary conviction. Three years probation, 30 days jail, fine $1259, 40 hours of community service, and must successfully complete Sierra County Drug Court Program.

John Church (42) Loyalton. No valid driver’s license. Six months probation, fine $635.

Robert Holland III (47) Loyalton. Plead guilty to two counts of sex acts with a minor. Sentencing is set for August 23.

Allen Tidwell (33) Loyalton. Sentenced after a conviction for felon auto theft. Four years probation, 90 days jail, 40 hours community service, fine $1373, and search clause. A restitution hearing is set for September 27.

Cammeron Massey (24 Loyalton. Sentencing on felony failure to appear. Three years probation, 24 days jail, fine $1413, 40 hours community service, and he was ordered to participate and successfully complete Sierra County Drug Court.

Cole Sternod (29) Portola. Sentencing on misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine. Three years probation, 16 days jail, fine $1039, 24 hours community service.

Gabriel Lusk (19) Reno. Possession of marijuana. Fine $450.

Jesse Barnette (19) Reno. Possession of marijuana. Fine $450.

Jennifer Radomske (29) Loyalton. Dog at large causing property damage, and maintaining an animal without proper care. Two years probation, fine $1029 (converted to 100 hours of community service.

Renzil Faria (24) Susanville. After a contested preliminary hearing, he was ordered to stand trial on assault with force likely to cause serious injury.

Andrea Freeman (30) Grass Valley. Admitted a violation of probation for a conviction of hit and run, on her underlying conviction of driving under the influence with two prior convictions. Sentencing is July 23. 

Donald Kaput (50) Grass Valley. Invalid drivers license. Two years probation, fine $678.

Audrey Page (51). Plead guilty to theft resulting from fraudulently obtaining food stamps. Two years probation, fine $362, and she was ordered to pay restitution to Sierra County in the amount of $1136 with 10% interest.

Patricia Andreasen (64) Pike. Sentenced on maintaining a place where controlled substances were manufactured (marijuana). Three years probation, fine $2904, and submit to search and seizure.

Joseph Malo (42) Transit. Drunk in public, and trespassing. Ten days jail.

Alex May (52) Beckworth. Driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or greater. Three years probation, 2 days jail, fine $2400, attend alcohol school.

Dillion Hermann (21) Downieville. Sentencing for conviction of battery on a person. Three years probation, 30 days jail, fine $352, ten years firearm prohibition.

Michael Brooks (25) Loyalton. Sentencing on felony theft of a firearm. Five years probation, 180 days jail, 40 hour community service, fine $1085, ordered to attend and complete drug court.

Paul Penn (35) Loyalton. Sentencing on felony possession of a controlled substance in jail, and felon in possession of a firearm. Five years probation, 109 days jail, 40 hours community service, fine $1379, ordered to attend and complete drug court.

Audrey Page (51) Loyalton. After a contested preliminary hearing she was ordered to stand trial on felony perjury and theft charges for welfare fraud.

Jeannie Adcock (53) Loyalton. Sentencing on embezzlement of public funds. Three years probation, fine $1399, search clause, restitution $2175 (which has been paid).

Robert Schwiesow (32) Loyalton. Burglary in the second degree (not a residence) of Loyalton Elementary. Three years probation, 16 days jail, fine $362, subject to search.

Brandon Hudson (21) Reno. Driving with a blood alcohol level of less than.05% while under the age of 21 and failure to appear. Fine $775.

Cole Sternod (29) Portola. Possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine). Sentencing on June 28.

Cassandra Cleghorn (18) Loyalton. Under the influence of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine). Referred for drug diversion.

Bernard Bonivita (48) Portola. Sentencing on possession of medication without a prescription. Eighteen months probation, fine $1070.

Richard Price (23) Loyalton. Violation of probation for failure to keep in contact with probation. Eighteen days jail, probation reinstated.
